Charger Battlemech by shortpainter Charger Battlemech by shortpainter
My interpretation of the classic Charger design. (Mechwarrior inspired art)

Very nice Charger! You certainly gave it character.
I would prefer it without the pistol though... (maybe with the laser as the Hatamoto Chi's)

I love how you're using the lesser known models.

I never understood the hand held small laser either. There isn't really much about this mech that I would consider sensible design. Had fun drawing it tho. Thanks for the comments.

The bad design of the 'Mech was deliberate. It was meant to show how bureaucracy can get in the way of smart design work. On the other hand, if you need something to pummel the crap out of scout 'Mechs and don't want to waste your other, more valuable, assaults and heavies, it does the job well enough.

Oh Noes !!! He will charge and use the " nail gun " on my ass !

I like it of course but i am a bit puzzled as to the weaponry for the right hand , it looks like a honest to God nail gun . Now i know that battlemechs can use their hand actuators to use rifle like weaponry for mechs ( the carry on gun on the Battlemaster is a good example ) but still i have doubts . It just seems like a mech pistol that can fire a small laser , one might as well place that small laser in the hand proper .

Very cool. I like the 'Dead Space' inspired handheld. Nice job.
